Chapter 5

Its about 10 am and Jon has just gotten to NY, traffic was worse than usual this particular morning. Jon pulled into the usual parking garage he usually parks the car in at Soho.

I've got a couple of hours to spare I might as well go shopping for a gift for Dorothea. He would need one hell of a gift for what he was going to have tell her too. She never was big on expensive jewelry but he always bought it for her anyway. He was walking down the street and decided to go into Tiffanys and thats when he saw the perfect necklace for her. It was a silver heart shaped necklace with diamond all the way around, he couldn' t help but smile when he though about how beautiful it would look on her.

"Sir, would you like this gift wrapped?"

"Yeah, thanks" Jon replied.

After he paid for the necklace, he walked up the street to The Village. Jon had decided to go ahead and go in to get a table and have some more coffee before she got there. That was one thing he could never get enough of, he even joked in interviews that he had an IV full of coffee. Jon got a table near the back of the shop so he wouldn't be to noticeable especially since his wife wasn't the one that was joining him.

Why do I need to do this? It's not to late to just get up and walk away. His phone rang and it was her, the one he had came there to see

"Hey, I got us a table in the back"

"Ok, I'm coming through the front door now" she told him and hung up the phone.

A couple of seconds later there she was, the woman he hadn't seen in 23 yrs, she had long blonde hair, green eyes and was wearing a black dress. She was so beautiful he couldn't believe his eyes. As she walked back to the table Jon stood up and waited until she got seated, then he sat back down again. Jon just sat there staring at her not believing she was there in front of him.

"Kimberly, its been so long, I can't believe I'm actually here with you" he said in a nervous tone.

Trying not to sound like a stalker Kimberly replied "I know, I've been keeping up with you for the last years. I always wondered what happened to you"

Sitting there in complete silence they couldn't think of anything to say.

A voice came up from behind them "My name is Mike, Can I take your order now?"

Jon spoke up "Just two coffees please."

"Anything else" the waiter asked.

Jon looked over at Kimberly and she shook her head no.

"Very well, I'll have your coffees in just minute."

The two just sat there and looked at each other.

"You know what I do for a living, so what have you been doing all these years" Jon asked.

"Well I'm still trying to make partner in my law firm" she told him.

"So if I ever need a lawyer I know where to get one" he said as he laughed. But is was no laughing matter because when Dot found out about his past he was going to need one.

She laughed at his comment " Yeah I guess so."

After she said that Jon saw someone taking photos of him from the other side of the restauarant. Shit, what am I going to do now? I cant have photos of me and another woman out in the tabloids. Especially since Dorothea thinks I'm with Richie today.

He asked to excuse himself from the table and when the photographer saw him walking toward him he ran out the door.

Jon just stood there trying to figure out what to do....he walked back over to the table and sat down.

"Is everything ok" she had asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah its fine, I just thought I saw someone that I knew." he didnt want her to have to worry about the paparazzi following her out of here.

The couple sat around and talked for the next few hours, when Jon looked at his watch it was already 4 pm.

"It was really nice to see you today, do you think we could get together and talk some more" Kimberly asked.

"Sure, I would love to I just have a few things to work out at home. I have a wife and kids I need to explain this to, so just give me a few days." he told her hoping she would understand.

"Thats fine I guess, just give me a call when you get everything straightened out."

Jon left the money for the bill on the table and walked Kimberly outside to catch a cab. Jon hugged her and gave her a kiss before she got into the cab. When she was on her way, Jon walked back to the parking garage to pickup his car and go back home to NJ. The whole way home Jon was thinking about how he was going to break the news to his wife. The love of his life and the mother of his children....

Chapter 4

After making love until the early morning 8 am came way to fast. Dot woke up with Jon still holding her the same way they had fallen asleep. And of course Jon already had a hard on and hadn't even woken up yet. She couldn't help but laugh because of that. She had almost drifted off to sleep when the loud noise of the alarm went off, waking up her and Jon..

"Is it morning already" Jon asked sleepily.

"Jon if you remember we didn't go to sleep until a few hours ago." she told him.

"Oh yeah..." He grinned as he remembered all to well as he still held onto his wife.

She rolled over in Jons arms and saw those gorgeous blue eyes staring at her. "Good Morning, Johnny"

"Very good morning, baby" he told her as he went in for a kiss.

Of course she couldn't resist as she could feel him under the covers ready for action again. "Jon you know I love ya, but I need to get the kids out of bed and take them to school."

"I know, I just hate letting you go" he told her. But after that he finally released her, he just sat up in the bed watching her walk across the room with nothing on. "I'm one lucky guy."

"What did you say, sweetie?"

"Nothing babe I was just talking outloud." he told her as he smiled.

He looked at the clock and saw what time it was, he only had a few hours before meeting her in NY. Jon finally made his way out of bed and went in to take a shower to get ready for the meeting later.

Downstairs Dorothea had finally gotten the kids out of bed and in the kitchen to have breakfast before she took them to school. Dot was standing in the kitchen getting the coffee ready because she knew without it, Jon wouldn't get anywhere.

"Mom, can you sign this paper for me" asked Jesse.

"What is it for Jesse?" she was afraid to ask because he had been having trouble in a couple of his classes this year.

"Just says that you and dad will meet with my teacher next week" he said with a scared look on his face. She took the paper from him, read it over, and signed it.

"Tell her we can come in next Friday, thats the only day that dad has off" she said.

"Ok I'll tell her today" he told her with a sneaky look on his face.

Jon came into the kitchen with a pair of black slacks and a white button up shirt and he caught Dots eye when he came in. With a suprised look she spoke up "You look awfully good just be having lunch with Richie today."

"Well I can't have him looking better than me!" he said while laughing.

"I guess not" she said just shaking her head. I wonder what he is up to?

Just then he walked up behind her and whispered in her ear "Your pussy felt so good last night I hated to pull out of you."

She could feel him getting aroused again and turned around to whisper into his ear "You're parents called and they are taking the kids tonight.So don't use up to much energy because last night was just practice for tonight." she had that sexy little smile that he knew all to well.

They both kissed not thinking about the kids being in there so when Dot opened her eyes she saw 4 kids staring at them with a look like they would all be sick. She smiled at them and told them the show was over now and they could get ready for school.

She looked back to Jon after they had left the room and saw him smiling at her. He loved to watch her interact with the kids, he loved everything about her.

"I'm not trying to rush you or anything but shouldn't you be getting ready for your lunch with Richie today"

"Lunch isn't until 12 so that should give me a little time do some shopping for the woman in my life"

Dot just smiled and walked him to the door. "Do you know what time you will be back home?"

"I'm not sure I'll give you a call after lunch and let you know . I love you, I'll see you later tonight" he said as he kissed her and looked into those brown eyes of hers.

"I'll be waiting for you" she told him as she closed the door. She leaned up against the door wandering who Jon was really going to see. Maybe he is going to have lunch with Richie, but why would he only stay for one day? she kept thinking about that for the rest of the day.

Since Jesse and Steph were arguing earlier Jon and Dot decided that a good punishment was to let them clean up after dinner.

"Mom do we have to???" Steph asked her mom.

"Yes and as soon as your finished I want the both of you up in your rooms in bed" Dot said as she
was walking out of the room.

"Jesse, see what you caused."

"I heard that" Dot exclaimed.

Both of them just gave mean looks to each other and started doing the dishes as they were asked.

Dot joined Jon in the living room and sat on the couch next to him. He was just sitting there with his phone in his hand and staring. "Honey, is there something bothering you?" she asked.She could tell something was wrong with him. Could it have something to do with the phone call.

"No I'm fine its just been a long day. You know those two little ones keep you on your toes" he replied with a smile.

"And you have just been with them for one day. Jon I love our kids more than anything but those two are miniature versions of you." she said laughing.

"And what would be wrong with that?" he asked with a pouty look on his face.

She couldn't help but plan a kiss on those gorgeous lips of his.

"What did I do to deserve that?" he said as he could feel himself getting hard again.

"For being such a great dad and making me one of the most happy women in the world."

Could she possibly make him feel any worse? "Dot.....I need.." was all he could get out before Jake and Romeo came charging into the room, both jumping on Jons lap. "Be careful guys daddy needs that tonight" Jon told them with a huge smile on his face, only to get smacked on the arm from Dot for the remark.

It was 8 pm and time for those two guys to get into bed but they couldn't fall asleep until Jon read them a story. Even when he was out of town he would call every night even if it meant a show starting a couple of minutes late.

"You two tell your momma goodnight and go on upstairs. I'll be up in a few minutes" Jon watched the two leave the room and told Dot that he would be back after he read them both a story and put their pajamas on.

"Do you need any help getting them dressed?" Dot had asked.

"No we'll be fine" he gave her a kiss and headed up the stairs.

She couldn't help but smile as she watched him walk up the stairs. He can still fill out a pair of jeans pretty damn well!

Jon had gotten upstairs and got the boys dressed and read them both stories. He watched both of them as they drifted off to sleep. He just smiled and wondered how he could possibly make kids that cute and sweet. "They must have got it from there momma" he said with a laugh.

Before heading down the stairs Jon had to make a phone call. He had told the woman he would call back in a couple of days but he didn't want to wait that long. He opened up his phone and started dialing. Then he finally got the nerve to hit the call button.

"Hello" said the voice on the other end.

"Hey, this is Jon. I'm sorry about earlier my wife and daughter had just walked in."

There was silence on the other end of the phone.

"Hello, are you still there" he asked.

"Yes I'm here you just mention your wife and daughter and I'm just not sure what to say." she said

"I understand. I know this is kind of short notice, but could you meet me in NY tomorrow?" he asked hoping she would say yes.

"I guess I could, I have the day off work....I just..." she said.

"You just what?" Jon asked her with confusion.

With a nervous voice, she answered "Its nothing, where do you want to meet at?."

"There is a new coffee shop called The Village in Soho, if you want to meet there" he was hoping
she knew where it was.

"Yes thats fine, I'll meet you there around noon, is that ok?"

"Thats fine, I'll see you tomorrow at noon " with that he hung up the phone and turned around only to see Dot standing in the doorway. Shit! How much did she hear?

"Who was that on the phone" she asked.

"It was just Richie" he told her trying to play it off.

"Oh, is he coming back to town? You should invite him over for dinner tomorrow."

He told her that he was just going to be in town for the day then go back to California so he wouldn't have time.

"Ok, maybe the next time he's in town he can come over then. And by the way I just came in here to tell you that Steph and Jesse just went to bed" she said to him with a smile on her face.
Jon walked over to her with one of his trademark smiles picking her up and taking her to the bedroom. He sat her down on the edge of the bed and got on his knees, looked into her eyes and saw that she was wanting him just as badly as he wanted her.

He was moving in for a kiss and she put her hand up. "Not before I give your gift to you" she told him as he looked at her with an eyebrow raised....she knew what put him on the edge.
While she had went to the bathroom to put on the new lingerie she bought, Jon was standing in front of the mirror just staring. Man you got a good life here how could you screw it up. Hell it was over 20 yrs ago but why am I feeling so damn guilty.

"Hey Johnny" he heard her voice from across the room.

When he turned around he saw the most beautiful woman standing there wearing a matching set of a red lace bra and panties. Jon couldn't help but smile when she said that but he kept thinking about the girl on the phone.

"Jon..." He was just standing at the back of the vehicle just staring and didn't hear his wife.
"Earth to Jon, do you need help with the rest of those?"

"No baby I'm sorry I was just thinking about something." he told her.

"Well while you are getting those I'm going to call in for a pizza. Is that ok with you for tonight?" she asked

"Sure baby anything you want" he replied as he gave her a kiss and a hug. "I can wait to see what you bought for me today! I hope you will model it for me tonight." he said with a huge grin on his face.

"Hey you two, can't you get along with each other for 5 minutes" Jon asked.

"Steph started it!" Jesse quickly said.

"I did not, you little...." Steph shouted.

Dot walked into the room with the pizza before Stephanie could finish. "Whats going on in here?" Dot asked with a very serious look on her face.

The two older kids new that look all to well. That was the don't say another word or you will be grounded for a month look. And for Jon is was the you aren't getting laid tonight look.

"Everyone just sit down so we can enjoy dinner" Jon said with a smile because he hadn't been laid for about a month and the last thing he wanted was for Dot to get mad.

So everyone just sat down at the table and got ready to eat. While sitting at the table they talked about how there day had been. Of course Dot and Steph had talked about there shopping which made Jon and Jesse just roll their eyes.

"Hey mommy, guess what I done today." Romeo said.

"What did you do today Romeo?" she asked sounding really interested.

"Daddy played transformers wit me and Jake today" he said with widened eyes "And you know what else happened....somebody called daddy on is celly phone today"

Jon almost choked on the slice of pizza that he was eating he thought for sure he was going to be busted by his 4 yr old. Dot looked over at Jon and asked who had called him.

"Nobody special, just an old friend" he said as he continued to eat his pizza, hoping she wouldn't notice the guilty look he had.

"Anyone I know" she asked.

"No, I don't think you know them." he told her wishing she would just drop it. Jon was trying to figure out how Romeo had even heard the conversation, thank god he didn't actually say I love you on the phone. that would have been some major explaining.

Chapter 1

Today was a day like any other day in the Bongiovi house with Jon out in the studio and Dot taking care of the kids. Jon had been spending more time than usual out in the studio writing new material, he hadn't been the same since he had a business trip a few weeks ago in NY. How am I going to tell Dot about this? Up until now he had the perfect marriage, they have had a few rough days but made them through. But after this nothing is ever going to be the same again.


The phone rang startling Jon, he looked down and saw it was Dot...."Hey honey"


"I know you are busy writing but could you come in and watch the boys, I need to take Stephanie out to get more clothes for school"


"What do you mean more clothes, we just took her shopping last week?" Jon asked while shaking his head.


"Well Jon she is a teenager now and the styles go out now before school even starts!"


"Oh yeah the teenage years, I can't believe my sweet baby girl is already a teenager. Give me a couple of minutes and I'll be in" he replied before he hung up the phone.


Dot could tell that there was something bothering Jon, but couldn't figure out what it was. Oh well, he is probably just having one of his bad days she thought to herself.


"MOM!" Stephanie yelled and just as she did she ran into Dot.


"Steph, I'm right here in the kitchen you don't need to yell"


"Oh sorry mom I thought were upstairs" Stephanie said.


"And you couldnt come up there and get me so you just screamed" she asked her while laughing.


"Mom when are we leaving I don't want to miss this sale!".


"I just called your dad and said he would be in here in a few minutes" said Dot.


"Oh ok, I'll be waiting in the living room then" Stephanie replied. Dot couldn't help but smile when she left the room because Stephanie reminded her some much of herself when she was that age.

While she was standing there Jon snuck in and grabbed her from behind and started kissing her neck. "You had better stop before my husband comes in" she said playfully slapping Jons arm.

"I love you baby. Promise me you will never leave me."

"Jon after 18 yrs of marriage and 4 kids I think you are stuck with me" she chuckled.

God, I hope so.

While still standing there in the kitchen with his arms around his wife, his daughter walked in. "Ewwww.........why don't the two of you get a room" she told her parents. Jon just smiled at her and shook his head. "Mom if you and dad are done doing what you are doing can we leave now? And can I have the keys so I can drive?" Stephanie said with a familiar smirk that her dad had.

"Steph, you are growing up way to fast for your old man and we have discussed the driving thing already." Jon said. Being a typical teenager Steph just rolled her eyes and agreed. She knew that this was the one thing she shouldn't argue about because she would never win. "You two ladies be careful and have fun shopping, I'm going to go watch tv with the boys."

Before they left Jon walked over to Dot and kissed her in a way that made her toes curl. "I really love you, have I told you that lately" Jon told her. She just smiled and nodded and walked away.

Dot and Stephanie hopped into the Navigator and went on there way to a girls day out to do some shopping.

While on the way there Dot kept thinking about what Jon said to her before he left. Why does he keep telling me that for? I know that he loves me but he's never really said it that much in one day. She knew that he had been really stressed for the past couple of weeks. Could it have something to do with the trip to NY. Dorothea don't overthink this, its probably nothing and you shouldn't even worry about it.

She pulled into the parking lot at the mall a few minutes later. "Was there any certain place you wanted to shop today?" Dot asked Stephanie.

"Doesn't matter as long as I get to shop!" she replied enthusiatically.

Back home in NJ Jon was hanging out with Jesse watching some old Giants games. Well at least trying to anyway, Romeo and Jake wanted all of his attention.

"Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" Romeo shouted as he ran over to Jon.

"Whats up little man" he said as he turned to the youngest of his children.

"Wanna play" he asked shyly.

Jon looked at those big blue eyes and couldn't resist so he followed Romeo to the corner of the room where Jake was at. There in the floor where transformers and matchbox cars lying around everywhere.

"Hey daddy, are you going to play transformers with us?" Jake asked him with eyes filled with excitement.

"Sure buddy" Jon sat down on the floor and picked picks up one of the transformers and just looks at it trying to figure out what to do with it.

"Here daddy I show you how it works" Romeo smiled as he reached for the toy. He took the toy from Jon and without even thinking made it a robot.

Jon looked at him in amazement because it was almost like Romeo didn't even think he just knew what to do. "Wow" Jon said "Thats pretty impressive little man, why don't you show daddy how you did that"

He sat down and showed Jon how to put it back together again.

"Hey guys", I'm going to go check on Jesse I'll be back in just a minute" he told them.

"OK daddy" the two younger ones said at the same time without even looking up. Jon just smiled at the two of them and went back over to see what Jesse was doing.

"Jesse, still enjoying the games?" Jon asked him.

"Yeah dad the Giants used to be pretty good" he said smiling because he new that would strike a nerve with his dad.

"You watch that mouth young man" he said with a mean look on his face, then turned it into a smile. His son was just like him when he was that age.

The phone rang snapping Jon out of the flashbacks of when he was younger.

"Hello" "

"Is this John Bongiovi" she asked.

Jon recognized the voice on the other end "Yes it is and I've been wondering if you were going to call" Jon stepped out of the room not wanting Jesse to hear the conversation. "How are you" he asked her.

"I'm fine, still kind of in shock though" she said.

"Yeah I know what you mean I wasn't expecting anything like this to happen either." Jon told her.

"Have you told your wife yet?" she asked.

"No....I" Jon replied as he heard his wife and daughter walk through the door. "Look I have to go but I will call you back in the next few days"

"Ok... I love you" she told him.

"Me too" he said as he closed the phone.
